Philipp Braunfels is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Jamestown Europe. Mr. Braunfels is responsible for investment management, transactions, capital markets, and fundraising across the European platform. He serves on Jamestown’s European Investment Committee, Latin America Investment Committee, and German Retail Fund Investment Committee. Mr. Braunfels brings deep expertise in international real estate investment across multiple geographies and strategies. Since joining Jamestown, he has held senior roles spanning a broad range of disciplines and markets. He initially worked with the German Retail Fund management team in Cologne and subsequently gained experience in acquisitions and asset management at Jamestown’s offices in Atlanta and New York. Mr. Braunfels later oversaw Jamestown’s Latin America business from Bogotá, before returning to Europe to lead the firm’s European platform. He graduated cum laude from Maastricht University with a Master of Science in International Business Finance and holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Economics. Mr. Braunfels is fluent in German, English, and Spanish.
