Julia Verbrugge is the Director of Strategy & Operations at Jamestown. She leads strategic projects and partners with the leadership team to streamline operations and drive efficiencies at the platform level. Ms. Verbrugge also manages the Jamestown Charitable Foundation. Prior to joining Jamestown, Ms. Verbrugge was a Program Manager for Google’s real estate and development group. At Google, she directed cross-functional initiatives that enabled the design and delivery of capital projects, with a focus on placemaking, community development, and transportation. Ms. Verbrugge also has experience in economic development consulting and housing research. She is a member of Urban Land Institute, including its national Urban Revitalization Product Council, and is an Urban Design Forum member. Ms. Verbrugge received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Urban Studies from Brown University and a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
