Sand Gnat, comprising 7,040 acres across three geographically separate tracts, is located in Liberty, McIntosh, and Camden counties along the Georgia coast.

Sand Gnat is managed under the American Tree Farm System, which provides third-party verification of sustainable forestry management based on criteria including measures to protect water quality, biodiversity, wildlife habitat, and threatened and endangered species.
