Ghirardelli Square is a historic landmark located on San Francisco’s waterfront in the Fisherman’s Wharf district. Purpose-built more than 100 years ago to house Ghirardelli Chocolate Company’s original manufacturing facility and headquarters, the property was reimagined as a dynamic restaurant and retail destination revolving around public plazas in the 1960s. It is considered one of the first successful adaptive reuse projects in the U.S. Ghirardelli Square is now home to a collection of Bay Area original concepts, including San Francisco Brewing Co., Subpar Miniature Golf, and Palette Tea House.
