ATLANTA (March 12, 2026) – Jamestown, a design-focused real estate investment and management firm, today announced Sage, the leader in accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), is expanding its Atlanta office at Ponce City Market’s 619 Ponce, a four-story mass timber loft office building built in 2024. The approximately 32,000-square-foot office expansion, set to open in fall 2026, will bring Sage’s total footprint at 619 Ponce to 89,000 square feet across three floors. As a result of the expansion, the office space at 619 Ponce is now 100 percent leased.
The expansion reinforces Sage’s long-term commitment to Atlanta – its deep talent pool, growing innovation ecosystem, and role as the foundation for Sage’s continued growth in the United States. Sage remains focused on creating opportunity in Atlanta through jobs, partnerships, and initiatives that support entrepreneurs and the next generation of business leaders.
Approximately 450 employees currently work from Sage’s North American headquarters at Ponce City Market. Adding an additional floor gives Sage the space and flexibility to continue expanding its Atlanta presence, affording growth for more than 200 additional colleagues over time, while preserving an intentional office experience built around connection, productivity, and culture.
Designed for how teams work today, the new floor expands on Sage’s existing workplace with more flexibility, more choice, and more opportunities to connect. The space will offer a variety of environments for focused work, team collaboration, confidential conversations, and social connection. With increased seating and upgraded amenities, the floor is designed to bring new energy to the office and create an environment where employees can do their best work together.
“The past year at Ponce City Market has shown us exactly why Atlanta is the right home for Sage in North America,” said Mark Hickman, Managing Director of North America at Sage. “There’s an energy here that you don’t find anywhere else. By expanding our footprint and investing in the local workforce, we’re signaling a long-term commitment to this city as our North American headquarters. We’re creating more than just office space – we’re building a hub where our people can grow, feel supported, and continue to innovate for our customers.”
“Sage’s expansion is a significant milestone for 619 Ponce and for the broader Ponce City Market ecosystem,” said Will Morgan, Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Jamestown. “Their commitment to the property reflects the continued demand for well-located, experience-driven office environments that foster collaboration and culture, and we look forward to seeing their team thrive as an integral part of the community we’ve built here.”
As Sage’s presence in Atlanta continues to grow, the company is hiring for roles across areas like sales, customer support, and product. Open positions and the latest updates are available on Sage’s career site.
Ponce City Market first opened its doors in 2014 and has since been credited as a catalyst for revitalizing Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Now home to approximately 100 businesses collectively employing over 9,000 people, Ponce City Market has become a destination for locals to gather, shop, eat, work, and live. In addition to Sage, Ponce City Market’s dynamic office tenancy includes Airbus, CONA Services, FanDuel, and Capital One, among others.
In 2024, Jamestown celebrated the completion of 619 Ponce, Atlanta’s first Georgia-grown mass timber building utilizing a regional supply chain, at Ponce City Market. The four-story building features biophilic design and exposed southern yellow pine timber beams and celebrates the use of Georgia’s vast forest resources to create a more sustainable built environment. Beloved ice cream brand Van Leeuwen is located on the ground floor as is Pottery Barn, which comprises more than 18,000 square feet, including a large, dedicated space for the brand’s complimentary Design Crew services.
CBRE represented Jamestown in the transaction while Sage was represented by Cushman & Wakefield.
