ATLANTA (April 2, 2026) – Jamestown, a global, design-focused real estate investment and management firm, and TriBridge Residential, a multi-family owner/operator with a portfolio of more than 6,000 units across the Southeast U.S., today announced that Blue Willow, the acclaimed New York City-born restaurant known for its bold Hunan cuisine, will open its first location in the southeast this fall at mixed-use destination Inman Quarter. The expansion marks a major milestone for the hospitality brand as it brings its vibrant flavors and cinematic dining experience to Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood.
Founded in 2020 in Midtown Manhattan during the height of COVID-19, Blue Willow has quickly become a destination for foodies seeking authentic regional Chinese fare with contemporary flair and design-forward interiors inspired by the golden era of 1920s Old Shanghai. From intimate dinners to celebratory gatherings, the brand emphasizes connection and memorable moments over shared plates, inviting guests to linger and connect in the lounge-style space. Blue Willow at Inman Quarter will occupy a 3,600-square-foot space situated off the property’s courtyard.
“Bringing a concept to Atlanta has been on our minds for a while, and for me it’s personal. I spent much of my childhood in the city after immigrating from China, and those years have stayed with me. Coming back now – not just to visit, but to open Blue Willow’s first location outside of New York – feels like a full-circle moment,” said Vincent Lin, founder of Blue Willow. “Atlanta’s food scene has grown into something truly special, and Inman Quarter felt like the perfect place for us to expand. We’re excited to share our Chinese roots through an elevated space with subtle Chinese elements, and most importantly, the authentic flavors and family recipes we grew up with.”
Rooted in a heritage of regional Chinese cooking, Blue Willow’s menu pays homage to the fragrant spices of Hunan cuisine. Aromatic dishes draw from cherished family recipes, with standouts such as bone-in ginger chicken, roasted Peking duck, and signature items like Chairman Mao’s Red-Braised Pork, a slow-simmered roasted pork belly with spring onion, star anise, red peppers, and baby bok choy. Additional menu highlights include hand-pulled noodles, wok-charred vegetables, a selection of dim sum and cold plates, and soups including wonton, hot and sour, and dragon bone, alongside three varieties of fried rice. Complementing the food menu, an inventive apothecary-style bar serves Baijiu-infused cocktails and tea-driven spirits that reflect the brand’s East-meets-West approach, along with a curated selection of beer and wine.
“Atlanta has a diverse and ever-evolving dining scene, and we’re committed to bringing chef-driven concepts to Inman Quarter that add something truly distinctive to the city,” said Adam Schwegman, head of retail leasing at Jamestown. “Blue Willow’s approach to regional Chinese cuisine makes it a natural addition to the vibrant lineup of dining experiences at the property.”
Blue Willow joins Inman Quarter’s dynamic food and beverage roster that includes Beetlecat, Little Spirit, MF Sushi, VinoTeca, and the forthcoming Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza, among others. This news follows the recent announcement of site enhancements at the property designed to enhance the public realm, upgrade wayfinding and connectivity, and elevate the overall experience for residents, tenants, and visitors. Construction on those improvements is slated for completion later this spring.
