Alex Bender is Director of Acquisitions at Jamestown, primarily focusing on Northeast markets. He joined the Acquisitions department in 2021 after previously working in the Asset Management department at Jamestown. Prior to joining Jamestown, he was a Vice President at Imperial Companies in New York. Mr. Bender joined Imperial Companies after spending five years at SL Green Realty Corp., a New York based real estate investment trust. At SL Green, Mr. Bender was a member of the acquisitions and investments group executing both direct real estate and structured finance transactions. During his career, Mr. Bender has closed over $6 billion in debt and equity investments and was actively involved in the development of One Vanderbilt. Prior to joining SL Green, he worked at ING Clarion Capital. Mr. Bender graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
